Visit a cozy café in Bratislava's Old Town and enjoy Slovak wines from a small family producer. Enjoy the unique flavors of local wines in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

Full description

Slovakia, especially the Bratislava region and southern Slovakia, has a rich winemaking history dating back to Roman times. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the Lesser Carpathian Mountains surrounding Bratislava. The Little Carpathian Wine Route begins in the Rača region in Bratislava and ends in the Slovak “Little Rome”, the city of Trnava, located 50 km from the capital. A visit to Bratislava would not be complete without tasting its delicious cuisine and
discovering the unique flavors of local wines, which remain the “hidden gem” of Slovakia.

During our wine tasting, you will have the opportunity to enjoy and discern four traditional wines from a small local producer in the nearby village of Limbach, near Bratislava. The experience is complemented by a selection of small canapés, a traditional appetizer served with a glass of wine

A great way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Learned that winemaking has been here since Roman times, and then tried four wines in Limbach. Canapés and a homely atmosphere are what are memorable. Bratislava has revealed itself from a new side.

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of Slovak wines. The producer in Limbach poured us four traditional varieties, and each was unique. Canapés completed the experience. Now I'm a fan of the Lesser Carpathian Wine Route.

Briefly but succinctly: history from the Romans, vineyards on the slopes of the Carpathians, the village of Limbach. Four wine samples showed the entire palette of the region. The snacks were chosen perfectly. I recommend it as a must-have for any guest of Bratislava.

The Small Carpathian Wine Route is something that is definitely worth trying. In Limbach we tasted four wines from small winemakers. The canapés were very welcome. Now I understand why local wines are called hidden gems.

I really enjoyed learning about the history of winemaking, which goes back to the Roman Empire. Tasting with a local producer in Limbach - four traditional wines and delicious canapés. A real discovery of the Slovak Small Carpathians.
