Take a tour of Hungarian wines in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Lion's Locker. The experience will be led by Pablo, our young and enthusiastic sommelier, who combines professional knowledge with a relaxed, friendly style that makes everyone feel comfortable, whether a beginner or a seasoned wine lover.

The tasting is divided into four 15-minute sessions, each dedicated to a different chapter of Hungarian wine culture.
We'll start by introducing the most important wine regions in Hungary and the basics of professional wine tasting. You'll learn to appreciate aroma, acidity, texture and balance while enjoying a light sparkling wine that sets the tone.
In the second part, Pablo will present three unique Hungarian white wines from local producers. During the tasting, he will talk about the grape varieties, terroir and winemaking traditions that make these wines unique.

Part three brings color and depth as you move on to a refreshing rosé and two well-structured reds, discovering how climate and craftsmanship shape each style.
At the end, we will try the Hungarian miracle wine Tokaj Aszú and chat with Pablo, who will answer questions and give recommendations on which wines are worth trying in Budapest.

During the tasting, we serve carefully selected cheeses and snacks that complement the wines and create a cozy, pleasant atmosphere.
